❂ HOW TO BUY

❂ ONLINE SHOP PRICES
Hand-carved mugs: Our price range for hand-carved mugs is $120-175CAD. A mug with a carving on the front and top glaze only would be on the lower end, as well as carvings that take a bit less time like trees or mountains. Wrap around more detailed carvings like multiple birds or whales with full hand-painted glaze would be on the high end!
Tumblers are usually $10-15 less than the equivalent mug design!
Hand-painted mugs: These mugs usually range from $200-250CAD. The prices reflect the amount of detail/time spent on the piece. The hand-painted mugs usually take between 4-8 hours to paint not including making the mug and glazing! The paintings are all fired onto the mugs and sealed with a liquid quartz protective coating.
Hand-carved and hand-painted travel mugs: These usually range from $175-275CAD+ Depending on the amount of time/details as well! They are measured to fit into a car cup holder and hold 19-20oz. They also come with a PortaVia travel lid!
Hand-carved kitchenware, jars & tea sets: Our smaller kitchenware pieces like spoon rests and juicers are usually around $50CAD. Our honey pots, garlic pots, butter dishes and smaller jars are priced similarly to our more expensive carved mugs. Larger jars with wrap around carvings are in the $200-300 range and tea sets are usually around $400.
❂ CANADA & USA SHIPPING PRICES AND CARRIERS
The shipping price for a 1-2 mug box is approximately $16-$35CAD depending how close you are to us in BC and the value of the box. We ship our packages with tracking using Canada Post, USPS, FedEx, UPS and Purolator - We choose the carrier with the best rates and insurance coverage for your order and location!
❂ INTERNATIONAL/OVERSEAS SHIPPING PRICES
We offer worldwide shipping with Canada Post tracked air mail! We offer a flat rate of $55CAD for a single mug box and $65-75CAD for larger boxes. We try to ship the boxes for the lowest rates possible and we will refund any overages if shipping to your country ends up being cheaper!
*Depending on your country there could be a VAT or duty charge on ceramic imports from Canada. This tax will be charged when the item is delivered to you.
❂ LOCAL PICK UP & DELIVERY
We offer free delivery within 10km of our studio in Nelson, BC! If you are eligible for this option, it will pop up at checkout automatically. If you are outside of our delivery range but would like to pick up your order at the studio, please send an email to cedarwoodceramics@gmail.com - we will refund your shipping costs and arrange that :)
❂ MULTIPLE ORDERS / SHIPPING REFUNDS
We automatically pack orders under the same name and address together and refund shipping overages if the label ends up being cheaper! You can send and email to cedarwoodceramics@gmail.com if you need to combine orders with different names or addresses.
❂ SHIPPING MATERIALS
All of our ceramics are packaged in strong corrugated boxes. We use recycled paper, natural rubber tape, biodegradable corn starch peanuts, and occasionally cellulose wadding (recycled paper padding) to wrap large items.
❂ RETURNS/EXCHANGES
We do not accept returns or exchanges - but if there is a problem with your order please reach out to us!
❂ CANCELLATIONS
An order may be cancelled within 12 hours of purchase - As long as the item has not been shipped.
❂ CUSTOM/WHOLESALE ORDERS
We are unfortunately not able to accept any custom or wholesale orders at this time:(
❂ CARE INFO
All of our ceramics are handmade with stoneware clay and dinnerware-safe glazes. They are all microwave safe and we recommend hand-washing them :)
